Benjamin Joseph Levin, also known as Benny Blanco (all lowercase), is an American record producer who was born on March 8, 1988. He received the 2013 Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award.
In addition, he was the 2017 iHeartRadio Producer of the Year Award winner and the recipient of five nonconsecutive BMI Songwriter of the Year Awards.
Levin’s first mentor was producer and songwriter Dr. Luke, who also signed him to his production company, Kasz Money Productions.
Levin co-wrote and co-produced several hit singles in the late 2000s and early 2000s while learning from him. Sales of over 500 million album-equivalent units globally for artists such as Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, and many more have been attributed to Levin’s work.
