Vicente Fernández (born 17 February 1940) is a famous Mexican singer, actor, and film producer from Huentitán El Alto city in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Before becoming a successful singer, he used to sings on the street.
He is the holder of so many awards which includes Grammy, Latin Grammy, and Lo Nuestro Awards. He used to perform live on the stages till 2016. He is the only singer in Mexico, who sold his over 50 million copies of his songs in the world.
The 79-year-old man started his music career from the age of eight years old. He used to sing on small functions and on the street to earn money. In 1954, his family moved to Tijuana. He left the studies after 5th grade and started working as a bartender or dishwasher in a hotel.
